We are more than 21,000 colleagues across 30 countries and 7,999 dairy farmer-owners in Denmark, Sweden, United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. We aim to create the future of dairy, to bring healthy and sustainable dairy products to people across the world, and to lead the transition towards sustainable dairy farming and production. We work continuously on the farms, at the dairies, and in our administration to reduce our carbon footprint and environmental impact. We are committed to champion good food habits and inspire a healthy life. We collaborate with NGOs and public stakeholders to develop viable dairy sectors in our emerging markets and to ensure access to affordable dairy nutrients. And we take our responsibility, our relationships, and our role in society seriously. Through these actions, we support a stronger planet and enable stronger people. We work together with our customers, scientists, suppliers, NGO’s, and other stakeholders who help us develop our business. Our consumers will benefit from our innovative approach and quality focus through our well-known brands Arla®, Lurpak®, Castello®, and Puck®, which are sold in more than 120 countries. • Revenue 2023: 13.7 billion EUR • Cooperative farmer owners 2022: 7,999 • Milk volume 2022: 13.9bn kilogram

Did you know that our headquarters in Viby is located at the end of the milky way. Sort of... 😀 If you have been there – you might have noticed that a beautiful art installation adorns the centre of the building. It’s called “Solstrålen” in Danish (the Sunbeam) and is created by the talented light artist Steffen Tast ☀️ One could argue that it has visual associations to the milky way 😉💫 Swipe through the images to see it from different angles👇
Arla art that “travelled” across the globe 🎨🌏 When our colleagues in Bangladesh were designing their new production site, they didn’t just want boring white walls. So, they decided to 'Arla-fy' their new facilities, as you can see below 👇 Parts of the design was inspired by May-Britt E Christensen, a colleague at our AKAFA site in Denmark. May-Britt previously decorated the walls at the Danish site, and now her artwork has inspired the look-and-feel of a site on the other site of the globe 😊👌 You can see May-Britt’s original paintings here: https://lnkd.in/ds3PpfhA
📣 "It's crucial that we show our work and that we aren't just standing still." 📣 Sustainability is one of the key topics, when farmer owner Torben Sønderby hosts guests at his farm in Denmark. Last week, four graduates from our Production Management Programme, Prio Intisar Awal, Ahmed Ali, Leena Alqattan and Olivia U., visited Torben's farm for a tour and a chat about how he runs his farm with animal welfare and climate in mind.
Is it coming home? 😉 O vuelve a España? ⚽🐄 We have asked the cows from Holger Poulsen’s farm before and now we have done it again for the final of the European Championship in football 😀 Looks like they predict an exciting game – but there can only be one winner in the end 🏆 Do you agree with the cows? 👇
POW(der)!💥 Ever wondered what can power up the protein content in e.g. dietary supplements, sports nutrition and meal replacements? 💪 The answer is caseinate powder! 🤩 A popular ingredients also found in coffee whitener – as the powder is an emulsifier and adds a creamy texture 😋 Our dairy, HOCO, located in Holstebro, Denmark, is dedicated to produce high-quality caseinate powder – take a look at how👇
Our roots dates back to 1881 when the first dairies in Denmark and Sweden were founded🐄 Since then, we have grown into a cooperative with more than 8,000 farmer owners across 7 European countries. And here are some of them👇😊 Read more on our cooperative history👉https://lnkd.in/dytaY3Cw #InternationalDayofCooperatives #Coopsday
