How can I stop blocked contacts from appearing on my FaceTime log?

My iPhone and iPad are connected. My iPad FaceTime log shows my iPhone phone calls.

I have a person’s number and Apple ID blocked on both my phone and iPad. In my FaceTime log (which again shows my phone call log), it’s showing this blocked contact has made calls to me and I have answered (I have not answered or been notified). It also shows this blocked contact as a joint call between me, them, and people I have talked on the phone with. Apple support doesn’t understand and is no help.
