Allowed websites only - still allowing apple.com

I have turned on screen time and content restrictions.

I have selected allowed websites only and populated with several websites. However, I did not add apple.com but it is still allowing access to all apple.com websites. It is blocking other websites that are not on the allowed list.

Why is it still allowing apple.com? And how do I prevent this as I can not black list a website in the "allowed websites only" content restriction.

Before you ask none of the allowed websites contain the apple.com domain.

Thanks Lawrence

Is there a way to just block the app store and the apple store?

It's nice of apple to make it look like it's whitelist only - allowed websites only but leave out the detail that someone including a child can still access the app store, etc. they could at least state that it's not restricted in the allowed websites only section.
