On-Premises API Changelog

Recommended version: v2.57.2

This changelog covers what has changed in the WhatsApp On-Premises API client and AWS/Azure/GCP Templates.

WhatsApp Business API Client

Los usuarios de la API de instalaciones locales deben instalar las nuevas versiones del cliente para seguir usando la API sin interrupciones. Ya no se admiten las versiones obsoletas del cliente de la API. Si un cliente pierde la conexión después de la fecha de vencimiento, el cliente obsoleto no podrá conectarse al servidor ni enviar o recibir mensajes.

The On-Premises client now offers support for MySQL 8. It is possible to migrate any version of the On-Premises client from MySQL 5 to MySQL 8. It's important to keep in mind that once a database has been migrated to MySQL 8, it is not possible to revert it back to MySQL 5. As a precaution, please ensure you create a backup of the database prior to initiating the migration process.

Warning: We are aware of an issue affecting GCP templates and MySQL 8. More information in our template github project.
