Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield in 'We Live in Time'

A24 on Wednesday unveiled the first trailer for We Live in Time, its romantic drama from StudioCanal and Film4, which is slated to world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival. Starring Academy Award nominees Andrew Garfield (The Eyes of Tammy Faye) and Florence Pugh (Oppenheimer), the film is set to hit theaters in limited release on October 11.

From two-time BAFTA-winning director John Crowley (Brooklyn), We Live in Time watches as Almut (Pugh) and Tobias (Garfield) are brought together in a surprise encounter that changes their lives. Through snapshots of their life together — falling for each other, building a home, becoming a family — a difficult truth is revealed that rocks its foundation. As they embark on a path challenged by the limits of time, they learn to cherish each moment of the unconventional route their love story has taken.

“Yeah, no,” she replies, admitting that she’s the reason he’s injured, as she’s just accidentally hit him with her car.

Written by Nick Payne (The Last Letter from Your Lover), We Live in Time was developed by StudioCanal, which produced the film alongside SunnyMarch’s Leah Clarke and Adam Ackland, as well as Guy Heeley.
