Of course, we raffled off the tickets among our colleagues, who were very happy about it. 🚀 Unleashing Creativity at L&R with EDISON🚀 At L&R we love to learn and develop our skills! We do this with our internal training institution L&R Academy, at external institutions and in specific cases and areas also with internal trainers. Some days ago our R&D colleagues Dr. Sabrina Ziegler and Carina Tauscher successfully held a creativity workshop at our French site in Remiremont. Both harnessed the power of the EDISON technique to tackle some of two most pressing challenges of our L&R France colleagues. Throughout the session, the team explored innovative brainstorming, problem-solving, and collaborative strategies of the EDISON principle. Sabrina: “It was inspiring to witness the diverse ideas and solutions that emerged, demonstrating the incredible potential of collective creativity. At the end of the day we generated several concepts that will be further developed by the team in order to implement. Thanks to all colleagues who participated and contributed their insights and enthusiasm. The synergy in the room was palpable. It’s clear that when we come together with a shared goal, there's no limit to what we can achieve! Laura Ihrlich, Digital Transformation Manager at L&R's Digital Lab, recently interviewed Verena Eulberg, one of our mentors in the L&R Accelerator Program. 🌟 From fostering innovation and collaboration to the enduring importance of people in a digital age, here are the key takeaways. 1️⃣ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋&𝐑 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦? I participated in the program last year and decided to return as a mentor this year. I look forward to meeting new people and gaining their perspectives on our industry. The knowledge transfer is particularly valuable. In my work as a national Key Account Manager, it's always about creating added value, both for the customer and for L&R. Similarly, in the Accelerator Program, both sides benefit from the different perspectives, ideas, and experiences, working together to be successful. 2️⃣ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫? Whether it's a start-up business or an established company, ultimately it's all about the people – and that doesn't change with digitalization. Therefore, networking and intensive collaboration during the 50-day implementation phase are at the forefront. My goal is to facilitate meaningful connections, support participants in bringing their innovative ideas to life, and provide guidance to navigate challenges and leverage opportunities. 3️⃣ 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋&𝐑 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬? It provides fresh impulses for innovative ideas. It encourages taking different paths and finding creative solutions. #people #care In many countries with L&R subsidiaries, the summer months are quite a challenge for our colleagues who have (smaller) children. As schools and kindergartens are often closed for several weeks, day care for the kids often has to be organized in a nerve-racking manner. As a family company and employer, L&R supports these colleagues and offers childcare at many of our locations and countries. Either at our own locations or at external sites in cooperation with other institutions. . For the kids this means 🎉 fun and action 🎉, for the parents it means a good feeling knowing that the children are well looked after. By grazing on the grass, they help us avoid using mechanical devices. And it is not only about "eco-grazing": These sheep were also saved from slaughter and now live in Remiremont.
