DLT Talents

Last night had our eighth session of DLT Talents 2024. After getting everyone up to speed in the beginning of the program and working in the different stakeholder domains thereafter it is now time for the Talents to focus on the fields they are most interested in. To this end, they have conducted interviews and are preparing their very own articles and content. We will share those in the future 😊. The keynote was held by Kristina Lindenbaum from our partner Deutsche WertpapierService Bank AG. She gave us an overview of how #DLT and #blockchain are used nowadays in the banking sector, talked to us about opportunities in the financial sector including new business models and much more. Her advice to stay curious, resilient and bold resonates perfectly with the DLT Talents spirit. Looking forward to our next sessions!

Last night we had our seventh session of DLT Talents Cohort 8 already! The Talents were asked to scout the (social) media landscape around #DLT and #blockchain, finding their top news outlets and influencers. Next up they will conduct an interview with accomplished experts from the ecosystem. Very excited to hear about their experiences in the next session :) As our guest speaker we had the wonderful Gloria Traidl. She has worked in TradFi as well as consulting and sales and had a lot of wisdom to share with our Talents. As a former DLT Talent herself, she knows how important it is to "get out there" and make your mark especially in male-dominated fields. Thanks for being with us Gloria, it was a pleasure!

Next Monday we will already have our seventh session of the current cohort. How time flies! We are looking forward to hearing from the Talents in the breakoutsessions, once again moderated by our great mentors. In their assignment, the Talents have to think about their personal brand, exposure tactics and much more. Good thing we have an expert on the matter as a guest speaker! Very excited to have Gloria Traidl holding the keynote on Monday. Last night we had our sixth session of the current DLT Talents cohort. Our Talents had researched on the topics of #regulation and #investment in the weeks prior to the session and presented their findings and learning in the breakout sessions. A huge thank you to our mentors for once again taking the time and helping to make this DLT Talents cohort a success! As a guest speaker, we had Dr. Caroline Herkströter from DLA Piper with us yesterday. She talked to us about the regulatory landscape, #MiCA regulation and the challenges deriving from uncertainty in the field. Listening to her stories and explanations was very valuable to everyone in the call. We are getting close to the big day for ReFi Talents! In July, we will start with our second cohort of ReFi Talents, once again mentoring ambitious and motivated people from around the world. Yesterday we had our fifth session of DLT Talents for this years cohort. We are halfway done with our mentoring program already. How time flies! In this session, our Talents presented their findings with regards to #entrepreneurship and #technology in Web3. Hearing their thoughts and research in the breakout sessions was very interesting. As a guest speaker, we were happy to welcome Alexandra Overgaag. Being a former DLT Talent herself and having founded her company Thrilld Labs after completing the course, Alexandra is an inspiration for our participants. In her keynote she talked to us about her experiences as a CEO and founder in the #Web3 space, including: 📗 Knowledge management in start-ups 👩💻 What it is like being a female founder in Web3 💲 How to pitch your idea to investors 🕸 The importance of networking and choosing the right people for your team It was great having her with us and listening to her inspiring words. On Monday we had our first Exclusive Talent Workshop for the current cohort of DLT Talents with our Partner DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale. The topic of the workshop was "Tokenize your Future: Unleashing the Potential of Blockchain." In the workshop, we learned about #tokenization, answering questions like ❓ What exactly lies behind the term tokenization ✨ Which use cases and application examples already exist 💲How tokenization will influence the financial market in the future "Getting your hands dirty" in the fields of tokenization and blockchain is one of the most important steps our Talents take when attending the program. Coming up with ideas, evaluating them, getting feedback and taking the time to think about real world applications has been a great step to further immerse ourselves in the Web3 & IoT ecosystem. A huge thank you to Saskia Fug and Andreas Albrecht for holding the workshop and teaching us more about tokenization. Looking forward to our next events together!
