About this item

  • PREVENT INJURY AND ALLEVIATE SHIN SPLINTS: Compression helps stabilize muscles and provide support to the shin and calf areas. By improving blood flow and providing support to the lower leg, shin splints are relieved and calf cramping is prevented. Compression in the ankle area helps to stabilize muscles to prevent injuries. Whether suffering from a calf strain or pain in the lower leg, the Zensah Tech+ Compression Socks allow you to get back to your favorite activity faster.
  • SUPERIOR COMFORT: The compression socks feature a seamless toe, which prevents chafing and blisters. An anatomical fit means the socks are designed specifically for the left and right foot to ensure a perfect fit. The socks are made of Zensah Fabric, making them lightweight, moisture wicking, and thermal regulating. An elastic band goes around the foot to help support your arches for added comfort and to prevent fatigue.
  • TRUE GRADUATED COMPRESSION: Graduated Compression means that there is the highest amount of compression in the ankle area and less in the calf area. This helps promote blood flow by pushing the blood back to the heart through the veins. Not only does this prevent cramping and swelling, but it also helps improve muscle recovery time, as muscles receive a greater amount of the oxygenated blood they need to recover.
  • WHO SHOULD WEAR ZENSAH TECH+ COMPRESSION SOCKS: Everyone from runners, basketball players, fitness enthusiasts, travelers, and those on their feet all day like nurses are able to benefit from wearing compression socks. The compression socks feature graduated compression to help improve circulation and blood flow, reduce leg fatigue, and support muscles. Use while running or working out to help take your sport to the next level or while on your feet or traveling to prevent swelling.
  • MADE IN ITALY AND EXTRA-DURABLE: The Tech+ Compression Socks are made in Italy of a polyamide and elastane blend to ensure superior quality. The compression socks are also engineered using a 200 needle count construction. This results in a more durable and advanced compression sock that provides you with compression in the areas you need it the most.

Hairstylist trys compression socks
So I usually dont review products but this product I can tell is going to change my level of comfort from now on after work! I'm a full time hairdresser I'm on my feet ALL day standing & running around & I started to develop spider veins & my feet were always in pain after work I tried elevating them & that didnt really help so I bought these socks to see if they would work for me & I just tried them today & at first I was concerned about if I would get hot or be able to stand them throughout the day because its summer time but they didnt make my feet hot & usually by the end of the day my feet are sweaty but these socks didnt make me hot, they were comfortable, easy to put on if you do it how they tell you too in the video, & also my feet feel better than usual! I took a pic also so you can see I am a size 8 in womans, i'm 5'5 & weigh 140 pounds also the material isnt to thick or skiny its medium I would say. Definetly going to purchase more!

These Zensah socks are great. I have owned them for about a year, and just bought another pair since I have upped the frequency of my runs. Let's get right to what I like:
1) NO BLISTERS. They prevent my feet from getting blisters on long runs (5+ miles)! Which is good. Because blisters are not fun.
2) WARM. They keep my feet warm in subfreezing temperatures. I have run in temperatures as low as 7 Fahrenheit wearing these socks and running shoes. Running shoes are very thin, so I give a lot of credit to these socks!
3) WICKS MOISTURE. My feet don't get really sweaty wearing these. Probably the cause of #1 (no blisters) but somehow it's like your feet barely sweat in most conditions. Everyone sweats differently. Your mileage may vary.
4) MADE WITH DUMMIES LIKE ME IN MIND. You see that logo on the sock that is on the front, toward the top (knee)? That is not just for looks. It helps you put the sock on straight! You center that on your foot and on your leg as you pull it up. Which I always seem to have a hard time doing.
5) SEXY-LOOKING. Yeah, I said it. They look nice. Dark color goes with everything! Makes my calves look beefy, too. So when people see me running, they are like, "Wow, that old fat slow guy has some beefy calves!"
6) DURABLE. I probably have about a hundred runs on my first pair and I still use them. No holes, and I have razor-sharp toenails that love to make holes in socks. Big toe has this nail that kind of points up. It is really weird. And expensive due to constant sock replacement. But not with these Zensah socks!

What's not to like:
1) Not a huge color selection if you are the type of person to color coordinate with your head-band of the day or whatever.
2) It takes some effort to put it on because they are tight. I have chronic back pain and the hardest part of a 9-mile run is getting dressed because frankly, some mornings, it hurts to put on these socks and my cold gear compression pants. But it is worth it, and now you know why because you first read all the many things I like about these.
3) Someone said that these keep my legs from becoming fatigued. They may help a little, but don't expect miracles. They can't run the miles for you. You run the miles and your legs are going to feel it!

Conclusion: I recommend these Zensah compression socks to anyone who runs for more than a couple miles at a time. Second most important piece of running equipment I purchased (#1 is running shoes).

I love these socks. The fit is perfect with just the right amount of compression, and it's surprisingly easy to put on for compression socks. I especially love the cushioning for the foot and heel area. They are very durable too, since the first pair that I bought is now 3 years old and still feels comfortable (granted with a small hole in the calf area).

I have several pairs of these now (a couple of blue and a couple of the black/yellow/blue), since I wear compression socks on weekdays when I'm at work. I can then use them for exercise when I get home, and they still feel amazing.

They are a bit pricey, but they are definitely worth the cost. If you can afford it and need compression socks daily, buy a few pairs.

I wear a size 11 shoe, but I purchased the medium socks. This was absolutely the right move because the large would have offered no benefit (due to being too loose). The material is well thought out and stretchy to the degree it needs to be, the fit is great, and the socks feel as though they will be durable. I suffered from shin splints and these have nearly eliminated that problem. I wear them during and after a run for various lengths of time and will sometimes wear them overnight. They never get uncomfortable and it is easy to forget they are on. Putting them on is straightforward, and I will usually turn them inside out up to about midfoot, slip them on, and then pull the rest up. There is a video on YouTube that explains this process. The socks are marked left and right tastefully with an "L" and an "R" in contrasting color (grey). The ZS logo's are subtle while still adding some interest. I have had surgery on one of my ankles and they are both notoriously unstable, and these socks offer just the right amount of compression and support to eliminate ankle pain while running. It is important to note that I am an EMT as well, and I chose these socks after hours of research. They've been washed every other time I use them, so about 3 times a week and are still like new. Remember not to dry these, just let them air out overnight and you'll be good to go.

Be careful with sizing, because the wrong size could lead to a less than enjoyable experience.

I should have bought the Zensah brand sooner. This is perfect, easy to put on. I bought the medium and wear a size 8.5 wide shoe.

Other unisex compression knee hig brands I tried were not sized right for a women. The Zensah Tech+ Compression Socks - Knee High Running Socks for Sports, Travel is perfect. It is a tad pricey but considering the money I spent on other brands that did not fit right, this is a winner.

Hope this helps with your search for compression knee socks.

I was going to return these at first because I decided I didn't care for the red but, honestly, I didn't want to deal with time constraints of sending back etc so I tried them on. Well thank goodness I did. They were wonderful . I had knee surgery 18 months ago and my leg has been cramping at night and now that I'm really training for a long distance run the shin splints are brutal. This was the first good nights sleep Ive gotten in a long time. I loved them, love the feel, felt the fit was about right. I am going to try them on my next training run to see if they help with the shins but they really did help my legs immensely from the beginning. It only gets the 4 stars because the color but even that's wrong of me, I knew they were red, and I ordered them anyway, but I will leave it at 4 because I haven't had them long enough to see consistency

I wear US Women's size 12 (43 EU), so I got the large, as recommended. I have very narrow feet, so they are far from taut, but they fit well (no bunching). The compression is perfect for me - nice and snug around the Achilles, but not overly tight in the calf area (so fairly easy to get on and off). Someone looking for tighter compression might want to size down. I have a 36" inseam, so was concerned about the length, but they seem to stretch in all directions and come right up to my knees. I wear these for running, and they stay in place nicely. We'll see how long they last, but my first impression is the best of all the brands I've tried.
