The Slate Development Pilot Program is designed to offer more flexibility to Eligible Applicants and allow them to choose and fund their development projects without the requirement of an attached Canadian Broadcaster (or other triggering entity). Eligibility to this program is based on attaining a threshold of reported gross sales and CMF-funded production and development activities. For this year’s iteration of the Program, Applicants will no longer receive a notification from the CMF advising them that they have been automatically awarded an SDE Allocation. Instead, Applicants must apply using the List of Required Documents to demonstrate that they meet the eligibility criteria for this Program and funding will be awarded based on a selective process.
