In March this year, we signed an MOU that forged important partnership with one of key denim partners Artistic Milliners. It was aimed at establishing a training platform to equip Artistic Milliners employees with a safety, compliance and environmentally conscious mindset. https://lnkd.in/gzmtdEsP Earlier this month, we held the first training session at Artistic Milliners’ Port Qasim production site. The session was on 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 and it was conducted by SHE officer Haris Ahmed Nasir. During the session, the team learnt about various aspects of safety, including workplace safety, hand and eye safety, slips, trips and falls, sustainability and environmental safety management, firefighting and more. Further training sessions on compliance, sustainability, as well as a site visit to our zero-discharge plant at Jamshoro will be conducted. We look forward to providing more updates then.

Last week, we proudly handed out sewing machines to 60 young women who successfully completed three months of basic tailoring classes. This initiative aims to empower women in the community to become self-reliant and create positive changes in their lives. 💕 The ceremony was attended by Dr Rajesh Ubale, Head of HR - India, Archroma and Atul Ashtekar, Site Director - Baroda, Archroma Textile Effects. Payal, one of the program participants, expressed her gratitude, "I now see a future for my family. These classes have taught me valuable skills and self-dependence. Thank you for supporting our needs and helping us change our lives."
