How can you evaluate whether a Product Management tool is right for your team?
Assess whether the tool is scalable. It needs to grow with you. Adopting a new tool, training the team, importing data, and learning how to use it is a lot of work. Moving to a new tool is even more work. The last thing you want is to hit the ceiling of what a product management tool can offer. That's why it's important to evaluate if the tool can grow with you.

What tools and software do you need in your product management toolkit?
You can absolutely build a product roadmap without a specialized tool. Many have. From spreadsheets to Notion docs and Airtables – it's possible. But why would you make your job even more difficult? We've seen many product teams turn to dedicated roadmapping software and never look back. Bonus points if that software takes user feedback into account. That's why Canny exists.
