Nos deux industries partagent les mêmes valeurs d’excellence opérationnelle et de responsabilité environnementale vis-à-vis des territoires qu’elles occupent depuis des décennies. Rendez-vous est pris pour prochainement accueillir à notre tour CHEMVIRON sur notre site de Parentis-en-Born !   In line with our aim to create, develop and maintain a valuable link with the key players in the regions that welcome us, and with the aim of creating local synergies with high added value for the territories, VERMILION was welcomed on July 23, 2024 by the CHEMVIRON teams at the activated carbon production site in Parentis-en-Born (Landes). CHEMVIRON Parentis-en-Born is a plant of the American group Calgon Carbon Corporation, world leader in the production and regeneration of activated carbons. Our two industries share the same values of operational excellence and environmental responsibility to the territories in which they have been established for decades. We look forward to welcoming CHEMVIRON to our Parentis-en-Born site in the near future!

- English follows - Le 25 juin 2024, deux jeunes salariés de Vermilion France, Eloïse Monsifort (Gestionnaire paie et administration du personnel) et Quentin Devienne (Chargé de gestion du risque industriel), ont eu le plaisir de participer activement à la Journée « Jeunes et Transition » organisée par la Commission « Les Nouveaux regards » (1) de l’UFIP EM (Union française des industries du pétrole – Energies et mobilité). De nombreux intervenants (membres du GIEC, de Carbone 4, de la DGEC, et du collectif « Pour Un réveil écologique » ) ont animé plusieurs tables rondes impliquant activement le soixante-dix jeunes issus des différentes entreprises adhérentes à l’UFIP EM. Ce forum a permis de favoriser la prise de conscience, les échanges et l’appropriation de leviers d’action pour agir, au sein de leurs entreprises respectives, comme acteurs et moteurs de la transition énergétique. Conscients de travailler pour une industrie en pleine mutation, nos jeunes salariés sont le relais indispensable pour réussir la transformation de notre industrie, la conversion et l’attractivité de nos métiers.   (1) Nouveaux Regards - UFIP ÉNERGIES ET MOBILITÉS (energiesetmobilites.fr)     On June 25, 2024, two young employees of Vermilion France, Eloïse Monsifort (Payroll and Personnel Administration Manager) and Quentin Devienne (Industrial Risk Management Officer), had the pleasure of taking an active part in the “Youth and Transition” Day organized by the UFIP EM (French Association of Petroleum Industries – Energies & mobilities) “New Perspectives” Commission (1). Numerous speakers (members of the IPCC, Carbone 4, the DGEC (general administration of energy and climate), and the collective “Pour Un réveil écologique”) led several round tables, actively involving the seventy young people from various UFIP EM member companies. The forum provided an opportunity to raise awareness, exchange ideas and learn how to act as players and drivers of the energy transition within their respective companies. Aware that they are working for an industry in the throes of change, our young employees are the key to successfully transforming our industry, and the conversion and attractiveness of our professions. We are extremely proud that our French subsidiary is developing the resources of this deposit in a responsible way, and that it is recognized by the company as a showcase for our know-how in sensitive environments, and as an asset that contributes to the social, environmental and economic dynamism of the regions that welcome us. We are also very pleased to have signed, with the “Communauté de Communes des Grands Lacs”, a second renewal of the Natura 2000 charter and a first agreement on sensitive natural environments.
