‘Crumb Catcher’ – Poster Warns Nothing Will Prepare For Whats Ahead in Home Invasion Thriller

Crumb Catcher

Home invasion movie Crumb Catcher is heading our way later this month, and a brand new poster warns that nothing will prepare for what’s ahead.

Chris Skotchdopole wrote and directed Crumb Catcher, with story by Skotchdopole, Larry Fessenden, Rigo Garay, and Doppelgänger Releasing will unleash the film in select theaters on July 19, 2024.

In Crumb Catcher, “Newlyweds Shane and Leah have their marriage tested when two weirdos with entrepreneurial zeal and a half-baked blackmail plot crash their honeymoon — they’re looking for investors for their latest invention and won’t take no for an answer.”

Check out the new poster and the uncomfortable trailer below.

Rigo Garay, Ella Rae Peck, Lorraine Farris, and John Speredakos star in the home invasion horror movie that premiered at last year’s Fantastic Fest.

“I started writing Crumb Catcher in 2016 as our country was being divided by the Great Hate Magnet. What emerged was a twisted tale of home invasion, two couples on opposing ends of the American Dream- a reflection of the absurdist times that in 2024, we are all still forced to participate in,” Skotchdople said previously in a statement.

“My intention was to make a thrilling and suspenseful film, but my hope is that these couples have more to reveal. I’m proud to partner with Music Box Films and Doppelgänger Releasing, a company that believes in community and that the lifeforce of independent film starts in a movie theater.”

Producers include Chadd Harbold, Larry Fessenden, Brian Devine, Bonnie Timmermann, and James W. Skotchdopole.

NecroBobicon: Kevin Smith Shares ‘Evil Dead’-Inspired Prop from Next Jay & Silent Bob Movie

The lovable duo Jay & Silent Bob will return in a brand new movie that Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes are shooting later this year, and Smith has taken to Instagram this afternoon to share a prop that he had whipped up for the production. It’s titled the “NecroBobicon,” a take on the classic Necronomicon from The Evil Dead that looks to be made out of Silent Bob’s face.

Smith jokes in his Instagram post, “Behold the NecronomiKev – The Book of the Dead Film Careers! Kidding (kinda). It’s actually called The NecroBobicon!”

What’s particularly cool about this prop that will be featured in the next Jay & Silent Bob movie is that it was created by Night of the Living Nick Studios, which is run by a graduate of Tom Savini’s makeup effects school. Night of the Living Nick also worked on Terrifier 3!

“I commissioned @nightofthelivingnick (graduate of the @thetomsavini School) to unearth this ancient, evil tome that features in the new @jayandsilentbob flick @jaymewes and I start shooting later this year,” Smith explains. “The NecroBobicon doesn’t swallow your soul – but legend has it that misuse of the book will leave the reader forever silent…”

We can’t tell if Smith is referring to Twilight of the Mallrats or a Jay & Silent Bob movie that hasn’t been announced yet, but keep your eyes locked on his social accounts for updates.
