‘The Visitor’ – Death Follows Images and Artwork from Blumhouse TV and EPIX [Exclusive]

Paramount Home Entertainment will release the psychological horror/thriller film The Visitor on Digital and On Demand on October 7, 2022, and it will stream on EPIX in December 2022, Bloody Disgusting learned today.

With the news comes the first art and stills, exclusively to Bloody, which  warn, “Where he goes, death follows.”

In the film…

“When Robert and his wife Maia move to her childhood home, he discovers an old portrait of his likeness in the attic – a man referred to only as ‘The Visitor’.

“Soon he finds himself descending down a frightening rabbit hole in an attempt to discover the true identity of his mysterious doppelgänger, only to realize that every family has its own terrifying secrets.”

The Visitor  stars Finn Jones (“Game of Thrones”), Jessica McNamee (Mortal Kombat), Dane Rhodes (Where the Crawdads Sing) and Donna Biscoe (“Saints & Sinners”). The film was written by Adam Mason (Songbird) & Simon Boyes (Songbird) and directed by Justin P. Lange (The Seventh Day).

The film was Executive Produced by Bradley Pilz, Greg Gilreath, Adam Hendricks, Jeremy Gold, Chris McCumber, David Grove Churchill Viste and Jason Blum.

The film is part of the Blumhouse Television and EPIX deal to produce eight original films together.

Universal Studios offered up a killer “Chucky” popcorn bucket at Halloween Horror Nights last year, and we’re excited to exclusively report that a new version is on the way!

The Bride of Chucky-themed version of the Chucky popcorn bucket will debut this weekend at the Universal Products & Experiences booth at Midsummer Scream, BD has learned.

The new animated popcorn bucket will be available at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Singapore.
