  15. Third Impact
    by Hakita
    Lilith Lilith
Hakita's love for heavy metal doesn't fit here all that well. Evangelion is so much more than brutal battles between aliens and giant robots and Arsi knows that. And proves that with "The Blood-Red Sea", "Lilith" and parts of "Requiem 2.22". But a lot of compositions still render heavy and violent. Not sure how it suits Evangelion. It's just an inspiration but the whole 'selling point' of "Third Impact" is the show. It's an okay album, but the good parts are good.
  16. A Totalitarian Tragedy
    by Hakita
    Ashes Ashes
This album was a major leap. Don’t know what Hakita meant by "decided to try to make it sound more fluid and complete" but it really worked. This time the album actually tells a more tangible story. I didn’t like the start a lot but the whole things picks up with "IKUISUUS-042". The ending is superb. And it reminds me of 019: Ashes to Ashes. Dust to Dust. It has similar conclusion to the atrocities we witnessed.

As The Apocalypse Draws Near As The Apocalypse Draws Near
With how diverse its tracks are I had a hard time interpreting this album. I should return to it later.

  20. Sewerslvt Presents: Cynthoni, Pt. 1 - EP
    by Cynthoni
Grinding Of The Teeth Grinding Of The Teeth
Cynthoni's appearance is a pleasant surprise for sure. I am excited to see what comes next. For now, we get quite tame introduction and it's really similar to what we've already heard. Interesting to see where the road trails off to.
