I love this take on jazz from a classical base, to me the colors are just more poignant than the standard be-bop-a-do-wop and meandering solos that don't say anything of any emotional significance.
Free-form classical impressionism backed with tastefully complex drums is genre I constantly mine for and I'm pleased to have found an example of it here.
