I have a soft spot for boom bap, always have, and listening to an album produced by a group that's relatively local to myself is something of a blissful experience. Elements of Wu-Tang and a variety of East Coast acts emanate from this record. CRABSTYLE pays respect to their influence and carve their own space with pincer and claw. I only hope that the future holds further releases from this talented group of MCs and producers.
