In MAGA-murica,

I am free to carry a stillborn child until my body is septic

and the chances of my having other children, much less the chances of my living, decrease with each restriction

placed upon the care I need.

In MAGA-murica,

I am free to be shot

I am free to be scorned

I am free to be less human than corporations

But I cannot travel for care

But the man on the stump says

Life is sacred. In quotes.

Until it is born. Or female. Or of color. Or gay. Or transitioning. Or needing help.

Or disagreeing with the Party Line.

In MAGA-murica,

Life is sacred. In quotes.

You can actually see the quotes hanging in the air,

floating above the flashbulbs

wrapped in spittle and santicity

Words cannot describe what a great comfort it is

to know exactly how sacred life is

as I lie on the floor bleeding out.
