Our ability to deliver air freight – especially to regional Australia – just got faster! At a launch event in Brisbane this week, Team Global Express was pleased to announce a strategic seven-year partnership with trans-Tasman cargo airline, Texel Air Australasia. We have introduced four Boeing 737-800 BCF freighter aircraft to our domestic air freight fleet, increasing our capacity and speed of delivery. These freighters replace four aircraft in the company’s total fleet of forty planes and are the first to proudly display Team Global Express branded livery. This week we launched our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), our commitment to building on our existing relationships and working with First Nations people and communities to create valuable and sustainable opportunities for the communities in which we operate. #RAP #reconciliation

Over the past 2.5 years, we have been re-imagining our business and our future by embarking on a listening and learning journey to understand the communities we serve, the country we travel on, and the ways of life we impact.   As a result of this, today we launched our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) at Banksmeadow. Through our RAP, we are committed to building on our existing relationships and working with First Nations people and communities to create valuable and sustainable opportunities for the communities in which we operate.   Along with our Team Global Express Group CEO Christine Holgate & Christina Wilson GAICD, Chief People & Sustainability Officer, we were joined by Uncle Colin Locke and contemporary Aboriginal artist Amy Allerton who has created a beautiful artwork titled 'Moving Forward with Country’.   We recognise that there is plenty of work to do to achieve an equitable and reconciled Country and workplace. We are committed to ensuring that First Nations people and communities we serve, and First Nations organisations we work alongside, are valued, respected, celebrated, and heard as we continue on our reconciliation journey together as one team.
