We’re proud to be recognised as a Family Inclusive Workplace for 2024-26, awarded by Parents At Work in partnership with UNICEF Australia. At PwC Australia, we want to foster a sense of belonging for all employees and understand that every person is unique. For many, balancing work, family life and wellbeing can be a juggle (and struggle!) and to support our people, we have a range of inclusive policies and initiatives that cater to all family types, no matter the stage of their family journey. These include flexible work via our Together Anywhere policy and program, ten days of paid leave in the tragic event of miscarriage, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, and a 26-week gender-neutral parental leave policy. For our people on parental leave, we also pay full superannuation contributions for both the paid, and unpaid, time they take off work, for up to a year. Thanks to our wonderful team who continually evolve our policies and offers that help make PwC such a family friendly and inclusive place to work. #FamilyInclusiveWorkplace #PwCPride #InclusiveCulture  #WorkLifeBalance #EmployeeWellbeing

In a defining moment for PwC Australia, the partnership has endorsed a milestone reform package, which will significantly enhance the firm’s governance and set a new standard for professional services firms in Australia. The endorsement ensures a suite of governance changes will be implemented, strengthening the independence, oversight powers and duties of the Governance Board. This includes paving the way for the appointment of an independent non-executive Chair - a first for an Australian big four professional services firm. This is a significant step forward in our mission of embedding our Commitments to Change and realising our vision of becoming the leading professional services firm built on the highest ethical standards with integrity at our core. A firm that delivers purposeful and sustained outcomes in everything we do. You can read about the changes in full on our website https://pwc.to/3P9O4v9

It was such a privilege to see the Sex Discrimination Commissioner Anna Cody in conversation with PwC Australia’s Elizabeth Shaw on the positive duty to eliminate sexual harassment and sex based discrimination. Anna generously shared her expertise and experience, and gave us some important insights into the Australian Human Rights Commission's approach to its new regulatory functions. She explained how lived experience is central to risk identification and control, and underscored the value of employee consultations. On the day that we discovered Australia's median #genderpaygap stands at 19%, Anna reminded us that securing women’s physical and psychosocial safety in the workplace is essential to reducing the gender pay gap. Big thanks to Paul Nicolaou Nerida Pearson and the Business Sydney team. And to Adam Lai and Liz Austin who are always such generous hosts. Great to attend with my Workforce colleagues Cassandra Fung Emma Linnenbank Sally Woodward Rohan Geddes Brooke Laforest

Today we have released in full Dr Ziggy Switkowski AO’s Independent Review of Governance, Culture and Accountability at PwC Australia. While at times difficult and disappointing to read, the Independent Review lays bare where shortcomings exist in our firm. I am sorry. PwC Australia is sorry. In this video, I provide information about the Independent Review and the actions PwC Australia will be taking in our Management Response – including by accepting Dr Switkowski’s recommendations for our firm, and by releasing a detailed action plan on how we will implement them. We recognise this is a critical and significant step required to re-earn trust. We know that we must show all our stakeholders that we are committed to change – not just by our words, but through our actions as well. That is our promise to our people, our clients, and our communities. I invite you to read more, including the documents in full, via our website: https://lnkd.in/dFMHza9m
