Entering new markets, extending our capabilities and growing our team has been a thrill but positive influence has always been the driving force behind Nous Group. It has guided our strategy since day one. What constitutes positive influence is always up for healthy and robust debate, but achieving as much good as we can is not. As part of our 25th anniversary, we’ve engaged in an exploration of positive influence and what it means for how we work with clients. If you're feeling philosophical, take a deep dive and check out our report where we explore the challenges and opportunities that come with being genuinely purpose-driven in 2024. When it comes to online education, prospective students have myriad options to choose from. For universities to succeed in this competitive marketplace, they need to identify their distinctive edge and be clear on the types of students they are targeting. We recently worked with a prestigious UK university to find their sweet spot. By bringing together data from a variety of sources, we debunked false assumptions and identified nine courses that could attract another 450 students to generate an additional £3.5 million in revenue each year. Learn more about how our analysis is being used to shape this university’s online programme offering: https://lnkd.in/gz23dR5M Antonia Instone Jack Armstrong #HigherEducation #Universities #OnlineLearning

By 2035, 80 per cent of Queensland’s electricity will come from renewable sources. The impact on jobs will be huge. To support this transition, we worked with the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training to develop the Future Energy Jobs Guide: an information source putting detail on future energy career opportunities, and the pathways to get there, at people’s fingertips. The Jobs Guide was released in late 2023 and is now helping school leavers and existing workers to envision themselves in an energy career that will contribute to a lower-emission energy future. Access the Future Energy Jobs Guide, and learn about how it was developed, on the Nous website: https://lnkd.in/gyPS3fW2 #Energy #RenewableSources #CareerPathways

The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) play a vital role in safeguarding Australians by regulating nursing and midwifery professions. With over 475,000 nurses and midwives across various settings, effective engagement with employers is crucial. We collaborated with Ahpra and NMBA to develop an engagement strategy to better reach and connect with employers, enabling them to work together for public safety. The strategy is now being used as a blueprint for future engagement over the next three years. Learn more about the strategy and how we worked with Ahpra and NMBA at https://lnkd.in/gXNZQJYp #HealthandAgeing #PublicPolicy #Healthcare
