There are few shows that we love to hate as much as Emily in Paris and if you're anything like us, you're probably wondering when the Netflix series will be back for another season of hate-watching. But fear not.

We are here to answer all of your big questions about what's to come, who's coming back and how long you have left to wait until you can stream the fan-favourite show. But first, let's recap where we left off last season (spoilers are incoming if you've not watched it yet!).

If you remember, season three had quite the cliffhanger ending, and (spoiler alert) a lot happened! In the final episode, Camille (Camille Razat) and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) are set to tie the knot, but she stops the ceremony, announcing she can't marry him because he and Emily (Lily Collins) have been in love since they met.

Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), Emily's boyfriend, dumps her and encourages her to pursue a relationship with Gabriel. As Emily finally tells Gabriel that, yes, it's true, she has always had feelings for him, he reveals that the reason he wanted to marry Camille was because she is pregnant with his baby. Not exactly what you hope to hear after declaring your love for someone, right?

No doubt there will be some big questions that need to be answered in season four, like: will Alfie return to London? Will Camille tell Gabriel about her relationship with Sofia (Melia Kreiling)? Will Gabriel get the Michelin star that he's been dreaming about with Emily's help? Will Mindy (Ashley Park) and her band go to Eurovision? Will Gabriel and Emily finally get back together?

The first five episodes of Emily in Paris season four will be available to stream on Netflix on August 15 – not long to go now! The next five episodes will be available just under a month later, on September 12.

Emily in Paris simply wouldn't work without our Emily, so it's safe to say Lily Collins is returning, we also know Ashley Park, Camille Razat and Lucas Bravo will return. As will Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie, Samuel Arnold as Julien and Bruno Gouery as Luc!

While we don't know much about what will happen to Alfie, Lucien Laviscount will return as our favourite Brit, given he was part of Netflix's official announcement. The star described the season as "chaotic" and "heartbreaking", so it sounds as though it might not be the best time for Alfie!

Lily has teased what's to come for her character in her Tudum season 4 announcement video.

"We are getting ready for season four of Emily in Paris and are so excited to see what's next for Emily," she says in the video. "It's safe to say we ended on a dramatic note last season and, surprise – it does not end there."

"I wish I could tell you more, but you'll just have to wait to find out," the star teased. "What I can tell you is that we have more fun, more fashion, and, of course, more drama in store for you all.

"Emily is going to have to decide if everything she's ever wanted is really what she needs. And while Emily's heart will always remain true to Paris, her life takes some unexpected twists this season. Don't be surprised to see her on a Roman holiday."

The official synopsis for season four reads: "After the dramatic events of Camille and Gabriel’s misbegotten wedding, Emily is reeling: She has strong feelings for two men, but now Gabriel’s expecting a baby with his ex, and Alfie’s worst fears about her and Gabriel have been confirmed."

"At work, Sylvie is forced to confront a thorny dilemma from her past for the sake of her marriage, and the Agence Grateau team navigates personnel shakeups. Mindy and the band prepare for Eurovision, but when funds run dry, they’re forced to get thrifty. Emily and Gabriel’s chemistry is undeniable as they work together towards a Michelin star, but two big secrets threaten to undo everything they’ve dreamed of."

It's also believed that the show will see Camille and Gabriel navigating pregnancy rather than an actual baby just yet, which should be interesting!

Darren Star, the show's creator, also hinted that this season will be about "complicated relationships."

"Season four is going to be more about navigating complicated relationships; personal relationships and work relationships, and how they come into conflict with each other," he told TV Guide. "Emily is still going to be working with Alfie, Gabriel, and Camille. Those work relationships are really fraught with emotional conflicts."

Sounds juicy!
