TAIPEI -- The market for artificial intelligence is not the only thing heating up. So, too, are the chips and servers that power the cutting-edge technology, driving demand for more efficient cooling solutions.

Taiwan's Liteon Technology Corp. is one of several component makers stepping up efforts to develop liquid cooling solutions for AI data centers as energy consumption emerges as one of the most pressing bottlenecks to boosting computing performance.
