Obesity drug Wegovy reduces cardiovascular risks for those at high risk

The 60 Minutes piece was a deception piece masquerading as news. Never buy into a con.

Obesity drug Wegovy reduces cardiovascular risks for those at high risk

This company is just soooo sketchy. They do a 60 Minutes "news" segment that is nothing more than an ad, complete with paid-for "experts". Then they do multiple "Clinical Trials" paid for by themselves, which they then manage to get placed in all the mainstream media about the spectacular...

Weight-loss drugs Ozempic and Wegovy also protect your heart

Isn't this the same company that did that cringe 60-Minutes segment that was so obviously shilling for the drug? Based on that segment alone, I don't believe their so-called "study" for a second. This company is already acting sketchy in trying to push this drug on the masses.

Report: Sonos is launching its own voice assistant in June

I can stream from my iPad to a Stanmore(with the Marshall logo) speaker, or to an Amazon echo (both via Bluetooth) The entire thread about it can be read here: https://en.community.sonos.com/controll ... ng-6826666 I'll concede that perhaps Sonos didn't want to waste resources keeping up with...

Report: Sonos is launching its own voice assistant in June

I have the older model Sonos speakers. I bought them when the feature did work, where you could stream music stored on the ipad directly to the Sonos speaker. One day there was a message that popped up that said, to paraprase: "with the next update of the app, streaming music directly from an...

Report: Sonos is launching its own voice assistant in June

Screw Sonos. I bought multiple speakers for the house specifically to stream my cd collection on my ipad. It worked for a few months and then they dropped support for Apple products. I hope they go out of business. But that's just me.

No equal to recent Greenland melt in centuries-long ice core

What a complete crock of BS. Do you use the products of big industry? I bet you do. I sure do. Do you have a car? Ever flown on an airline? This comment reminds of Leonardo Di Caprio yelling out "Fight big industry!" at the Oscars just before he takes his limo back to his yacht. Do you really...

Strange snafu misroutes domestic US Internet traffic through China Telecom

"Two and a half years? -Surely there would be some sort of monitoring, that would at the very least flag a 340ms LA---Washington RTT as abnormal? " PowerJoe, My thoughts exactly. How did this go unnoticed? I'm totally skeptical that this is a true story and not complete BS. People with...

32 class action suits filed against Intel over Spectre and Meltdown flaws

What actual harm did this do to the user? Wouldn't they have to prove that someone took advantage of the flaw? I get that the patch caused a slowdown. But an unlocked door doesn't prove burglary.

Microsoft finally has a proper way to opt out of Windows 7/8 to Windows 10 upgrades

I just go into the windows 7 directory that contains the downloaded update files and rename everything with a .exe extension to .hellno. Works fine and is not overly complicated.

Ars Asks: We've got some UltraEverDry—what should we put it on?

Cookware is a bad idea. You do not want to cook that stuff and inhale the fumes. Having that stuff inside your lungs is probably bad. If I had it, I would probably coat the office next door's marker board after hours, but that's just me.

Don't ask, don't tell: Microsoft bans lesbian Xbox Live user

"Homosexuality is also a special case because gay people have historically been told to keep their sexual orientation a secret. And you still see that today with the "they can do what they want but I don't want to hear about it" crowd, who seem to equate homosexuality with some sort of hardcore...
