Jennifer Hale is a Canadian-born American voice actress. She is best known for her work in Commander Shepard from Mass Effect, Samus Aran from Metroid Prime, Killer Frost from various projects, Gladys from The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Trinity from The Matrix: Path of Neo, Princess Morbucks, Sedusa and Ms. Keane from The Powerpuff Girls, Flora from Tak and the Power of Juju, Cinderella from various Disney projects and Dory from Finding Nemo video games. In 2013, she was recognized by Guinness World Records as the most prolific video game voice actress.
Hale is featured in animation such as The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest, The Powerpuff Girls, Codename: Kids Next Door, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Brandy & Mr. Whiskers, Totally Spies!, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, Avatar: The Last Airbender and its continuation The Legend of Korra, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?. She also voices Thorn of the Hex Girls in various Scooby-Doo movies and TV episodes, as well as Cinderella and Princess Aurora in various Disney Princess media of the 2000's and 2010's
For her role as Commander Shepard, Hale was nominated for the "Best Performance by a Human Female" at the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards. She has been nominated for Performer in a Leading Role at the 18th British Academy Games Awards in 2022 for her performance as Rivet in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
Hale notably portrayed the character Killer Frost in the shows Justice League and Justice League Unlimited which were part of the DCAU (DC Animated Universe) and was one of a number of actors who reprised her role from the DCAU for the Arkhamverse such as Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill, Arleen Sorkin, Tara Strong, Loren Lester, Robert Costanzo, Corey Burton, Khary Payton, Hynden Walch, CCH Pounder, Peter MacNicol, Michael Rosenbaum and Adrienne Barbeau who all returned in the Arkham games, although some, in different roles.
