Description
This app is designed for the collection of vegetation habitat characteristic data in support of habitat assessment metrics. The application can be used by private contractors and industry personnel involved with habitat evaluation and measurements. It also provides users an interface for the collection of line point intercept data within pre-defined sample sites associated with impact and conservation areas. Once users have navigated to the sample location, the app allows users to quickly enter in the type of vegetation occurring at each sample point along the transect using drop downs of vegetation types. Quality controls within the app require that all data fields be filled out and a picture be taken before data can be submitted. Submitted data is used to produce a Habitat Evaluation Guide (HEG) score.
