Last update is buggy and glitchy
Last update (Feb. 2018) is buggy and glitchy; won’t save your preferences, I.e. location - or sometimes you can’t even change location from the default of Boston, so that makes it pretty useless. Before, it mostly worked as promised. Now it’s broken.
Bugs Fixed
Hey, It’s Craver. The app was a bit ‘buggy’ at first, but now it’s working quite well. When it first opens, if you have chosen ‘auto update,’ then it takes a few seconds to update. Once done, you simply close our sponsor add. Just touch the bar where the city is listed and you’ll see all of our covered markets. To see listing by map, just swipe to the right. We work hard to provide a great app with current listings. If you have an issue, just drop me a note, don’t write a crappy review.
App comatose
It’s nice to have the listings, addresses, etc., but the data is old. When you write a review to help update the app, nothing happens. The app is comatose.
Consequently, you show up with your guitar and new songs only to find that the open mic host has quit, the schedule changed, or the bar closed. Furthermore, there are great gigs that are not listed and that’s ignored as well.
