I will present this album to you in a simple way.
I llove it a lot, but I think what I appreciate most is how it was made. With humility, simplicity and fluidity.
The thing that I will always remember is the fact that Francis knew how to complete or create, something that is terribly lacking in my work. A real synergy. Working together has taken me to areas and harmonic aesthetics that I would never have reached alone. In this sense, for me, what happened was 1+1 = something much more musical than just the sum of our two skills.
If I look back, I have always had a lot of difficulty working, and in general, communicating with others. Abnormally perfectionist, too demanding of myself, and also of others...multiplied by the difficulty for giving one's opinion frankly, without hurting people. Even sometimes my glacial reactions annoy me ! (and reciprocally accept the opinions of others of course!)
When I was younger, the prospect of no longer speaking at all appealed to me because I found human relationships too complicated. (I didn't do it) So, I had a little bit of anxiety about launching this collaboration.
So thank you Francis. The result is lovely.
And I hope you, (yes you, my dear listening friend) will enjoy this album.
