Customer Review

I've tried every sort of spring trap, from the old fashioned wood types to the spin traps. I've decided the most effective trap is the Press N Set. They are more expensive than the old wooden variety, but the advantages are worth it. It's so much easier to bait and set these traps. Even better, after a few days, if a trap hasn't caught anything you can easily unset it, clean the bait compartment out with a Q tip, and reset it. Re-baiting is fast and easy so these traps never go to waste. (Until you get a mouse, that is.)

The secret to these traps is to follow manufacturer's instructions. Always place the trap perpendicular to a wall with the bait well facing the wall. This ensures the mouse comes in head first. In fact, the only time these traps caught but didn't kill a mouse is when I was unable to properly place it.

The only negatives are a few of these traps I've had to press really hard to set. Also, you do see the dead mouse, so if that bothers you, try something else. But if you're okay with that, these are the best.
