Fantastic place to go for lunch

My husband and I came for lunch and the food was fantastic! A varied menu and generous portion sizes. Compliments to the chef! From the moment we arrived the bar/restaurant staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were really well looked after by Elodie. This was our first experience of eating at The Mercure and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Very good check in, lovely room. Enjoyed a nice dinner, able to have a pleasant walk round the area, slept well. Good breakfast in the morning, good check out. We were gifted this stay via a Virgin Experience voucher and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Dinner for two at The Mercure, Tunbridge Wells

We had a delicious evening meal. The house white wine was Spanish, generous and satisfying. The Rioja was full-bodied and delightful. As a starter, ideal for a vegetarian, we had halloumi tacos, served as a generous portion. This had a tasty blend of flavours and textures, including mango, salsa, chilli, garlic and the halloumi itself, all wrapped in tacos parcels. A great starter! For main course we chose 1 x beetroot and goats cheese tortellini, which was very good, along with an ample green salad. Also, a dry aged surloin steak (8 oz) and chunky chips. These dishes were thoroughly enjoyed. What better way to finish the meal than with Mercure Eton Mess and also sticky toffee pudding. Quite delicious!
