On a seemingly typical day, the first shift of workers entered the impressive GXO facility just outside Atlanta. As it turns out, it was a history-making day. It was the first time a humanoid robot joined them in working a full shift in a commercial setting — not a test, proof of concept, or demo.

Digit started work as part of a multi-year deployment and was integrated directly into their material handling workflow. This milestone resets the bar for the humanoid robot industry. Doing meaningful work at rates that create economic value, that somebody is willing to pay for. That’s ultimately what matters and at this very second that’s exactly what Digit is doing.
