At the time of my purchase this only had one review which scared me a bit but I’m glad I took the risk.
After setting up and charging I turned it loose and was amazed. I could not believe what this thing is capable of.
From the mapping to the quality I’m just blown away. I have 3 cats a Great Dane and 3 kids in my home. This machine made light work of all the mess.
I wish the bottle of cleaning solution that is included was a little bigger considering the price tag but all in all I can promise you will never have to sweep mop or vacuum again as long as you have this bad boy.

The most complicated part of setting this up was actually unpacking the vacuum and the home base. There are multiple pieces of tape that have to be removed and various clear pieces of plastic covering the numerous sensors this vacuum uses that have to be removed. Once I had everything unpacked and the home base plugged in, I downloaded and installed the app. In the manual it instructs you to fully charge the vacuum prior to use but I wanted to see how this worked. The first thing that surprised me was that it actually speaks...I wasn't expecting that (never had a talking vacuum before). The next thing that surprised me was how meticulously it mapped the level of the house I set this up on. I decided to use it in the lower level. The vacuum took over 30 minutes to map the area. I had one spot where it was just a little too tight to get around some furniture, but I later fixed that. It was very impressive how it mapped the entire area which consisted of a bedroom (it even mapped under the bed) a bathroom, a workout area and a recreation room. It was perfect, even including the type of flooring. I then asked it to clean while set on maximum and it started to do its thing. About 20 minutes into the job, it announced its battery was low and that it was returning to its base to charge. It docked perfectly and dumped itself into the station and started charging. Awesome!
The next day I asked it to clean again. This time while it was cleaning, I decided I did not like where the homebase was, so I unplugged and relocated it. When it had finished, it went to where the base had been, and searched the area thoroughly when it didn't find the dock there. I thought at that point it would simply error and shut down, but instead it began searching the level for the base and found it after about 5 minutes. It then docked and dumped itself again and has not had any issue finding the new base location since. Again, awesome!
After a couple days, I moved the furniture just enough for it to reach the spot it couldn't. The next time it ran it actually discovered it could get into that area, mapped it - adding it to the map in the app - and cleaned the area. The technology in this would make even the best self-driving car envious!
Maintenance on the unit includes what you do on a typical vacuum plus some extras. The typical maintenance includes changing the bag when it is full, removing long hair that gets tangled in the power brush and front pivot wheel, plus cleaning out the dirty water tank if you use the mopping function. Not so typical maintenance includes wiping down the numerous sensors and replacing the whisker sweep and mop heads when it needs it. None of this is difficult or time consuming to do.
The vacuum does a good of cleaning I have it set to maximum power when vacuuming and to the standard mopping setting which works really well. It has started to save me time too. When we first started using this, I would sit and watch it to see what it did, so it really didn't save me any time. Now I just tell it to clean and let it go do its thing. On maximum it is not quiet, but not overly loud either. I can hear it from one floor away, but not two. There is a quiet setting, but we really don't have a need for that, so I just leave it on maximum. It is not a cheap device, so the longer it lasts is important for when it comes to value for money. I do recommend this vacuum.

One thing to note is the lack of remote, everything has to be done with the app. I personally don't care but obviously this mean the robot will have access to the internet. The app is easy to install and use, a QR code can easily add the vacuum to it, but you need to create an account. Everything is free, I don't think there is any kind of paid option.
I used both vacuum and mop features, they can be used together or separately and it also detect carpets to not mop them but also vacuum with more power on them. If it somehow wrongly detect a carpet or miss one, you can manually add them on the map. This map is also very well made, detecting walls and other obstacles, even being able to guess what type of room each ones are. You can also add areas the vacuum won't go, in my case it was detecting a TV table shelve as floor and could probably enter.
Using this map, you can let it do its thing or give it a room order, clean only a specific room and even tell it what kind of floor each room are made of, affecting in which direction it will clean and probably some other variables. You can even use the camera in it to watch in real time what it is doing, it is not on by default, you need to activate it but it also allow it to take pictures when it find something in the way and you can check on the map what is it. Why did the vacuum miss a spot? Was it your dog or cat in the way? Your kid left some toys? You'll know.
I could go on and on about every little features, I was really blown away how many options and features it has compared to my old basic one. I would guess that all Dreame ( Dreametech ) models have similar features like this. One thing particular about this one, the Pro Ultra, is the hot-water mopping, you can tell it how wet or dry to leave the floor but on the default one it dry pretty quickly and looking at the water it clean quite well considering it uses water only. As far as I could tell the soap is used only to clean the mop and it cleans it quite often, each room or two depending on the size.
While I'm into that subject, you don't have to touch the vacuum at all once it's configured, it will empty itself automatically into the base when done, both dust and water. You simply need to empty the waste water when done and add more clean water in the other container. There is also a bag to change from time to time. So it means you'll need to buy more bags and soap, you get very little soap included, while everything else is good for a while but some parts will need to be changed someday, the manual has all the info about how often everything should be changed or cleaned.

Now, keep in mind that this does more, and it takes up more space. It is not as low to the floor as my old vacuum and can't go under as much of the furniture. Honestly, this doesn't bother me, but for some, this may be an issue. Also, the base is bigger and taller, which isn't a surprise because it has to hold both clean and dirty water. But I had already retrofit a cupboard to park my old robot, and this unit doesn't fit, so I had to find a new place for this one to live. The app is intuitive, and can also be used for home security, driving the robot out remotely with a camera. It's so freaking cool. Both the carpet and the regular floor cleaning are more than sufficient. The little sweeper gets right into the corners, and event the mop pops out! This is such an upgrade and I'm so happy with it.

One of the coolest features is its self-cleaning mops. It uses hot water to clean the mops and dries them with hot air, ensuring they're always ready for the next cleaning session. The robot is smart enough to know when the mops and floors are particularly dirty, so it mops them twice to make sure everything is sparkling clean.
The app that comes with it is very user-friendly. I can customize cleaning routines, select specific rooms or floors to clean, and even activate the camera remotely. It also provides real-time cleaning progress updates, including alerts and snapshots of any obstacles the robot encounters. The robot uses LiDAR and a camera to create an accurate map of my home, which I can edit as needed.
The robot does a great job avoiding objects and navigating around small obstacles. It also has the ability to recognize and adjust its cleaning approach for different floor types like carpet, tile, and hardwood. It avoids falling down stairs, which gives me peace of mind.
The Dreame L10s Pro has impressive suction and mopping capabilities, making it highly effective at dealing with dirt and pet hair. The heated water and extendable mop pads are particularly useful for cleaning those tricky areas.

By day three, we tested the mopping feature and at first it was doing a good job…. That is up until it came time to drain water. We got an error message saying that there’s an abnormal water level. We look to the bottom reservoir and see that it’s full to its brim with dirty water. Despite telling us draining complete it is not draining any water up to the reservoir tank. It’s making all kinds of noise, but nothing is draining. Check the two holes at each end to make sure there was nothing blocking. The water wasn’t very dirty so there’s no real debris in there. Contacted customer support immediately and got a generic message asking me to be patient and the relevant team would be in touch. Later in that day was asked to provide invoice proof which I immediately provided them. 24 hours later, I haven’t heard anything back. 48 hours later, I asked for a status update and later that evening I’m told that they have too many orders and will get back to me ‘ In a timely manner’. Really? on a $2000 vacuum cleaner that’s the type of after sales service support that’s provided By the manufacturer? ‘ hang tight’ I don’t feel is an acceptable Reply to customers who purchased such a premium product and has issues with it within the first week of use. Have I not got this item on promotion through the vine program it would’ve been boxed and sent back already. There needs to be much more affirmative responses to reassure a customer Who has actually spent the hard money $2000 Canadian in this case on such a premium device. Doing some additional research online To try and find my own troubleshooting videos, as none are provided by the manufacturer, I see that the issues that I have experienced are not uncommon With this unit. As is and thus far, unfortunately, I cannot recommend this vacuum cleaner at all, and would strongly urge prospective buyers to look elsewhere. not only is the product defective, but customer service is very much lacking in the Professionalism and tact department.
