One of the biggest issues I have is forgetting to charge my controllers. This all but eliminates that problem. I love the ease of throwing them into the base and forgetting about it. The charge light lets you know it is plugged in so you don't have to have to have blind faith. The fan is nice, although my system has a custom case on it, not sure how much this actually helps. At a certain point, you're just moving air. It IS a nice feature and having multiple speeds is a bonus. My one nitpick is that my entire desk is RGB cycling colors. This base does NOT cycle colors: It changes from one color to the next. It's a small thing, but with all the custom LEDS I have added to PC and Consoles, this kind of stands out. But does what it says it does, holds the cosole securely and keeps me charged up. That's all I ask.

Wellll... as the title says, jury is still out on this item, bad things 1st: the lights around it are pretty cool in an ascetic way, except... I've had them freeze up a couple of times, no biggie, they just did it once or twice, just fine now.
2nd: First off let me say that the fans are excellent for cooling your PS5. Also,they are ULTRA quiet. I actually have to feel the fan outlet to see if they're actually working, but..... I've had a couple of times when I couldn't get the fans to come on, again, just a couple. This happened at about the same time as the border lights doing their thing. But, as with the lights everything seems good now. And the 3 fan selection is great. I have a 4 gig SSD card in my system and have never had ANY problems with it keeping everything nice and cool. I always run mine with all 3 fans.
3rd: Headset "hanger" is kind of weak. It doesn't stay tight, so it kind of wanders.
Would I recommend this to anyone? Yeah, I think so. Overall it seems to be doing a good job with cooling, the border lights are pretty cool, they change colors about every 2-3 seconds and are bright. Colors are clean and not "washed out" .
I would have probably given it 5 stars except for the problems that were there for a couple of sessions.

So I bought this mainly for the controller chargers and extra usb slots but i’m also happy to have the headset holder and media remote slot as I have those as well. Initially I was gonna write how disappointed I was with the fans as they did little for me in terms of cooling as I had to put it on the max setting to get any results. However after moving my system from one room to the next I notice that it was just the placement of the system that was the cause of the heating issue and the fans worked as normal. So all in all everything works as it should. A great buy and I’d recommend to anyone.
