Leap Day is Delete Your Drafts Day

In December of 2019, shared 10 posts I didn’t publish over the last decade. It was my way of accepting that good ideas aren’t always right for execution. It also inspired Jeremy to do the same and Kelly tried but instead wrote a different post. I want to bring that back and Leap Day feels like the day to do it.

For me, drafts can signify actual work in progress, a quick dump for an idea, or an incomplete post. Some are only a title, some are close to being finished, but all of them remain unpublished.

Between now and the 28th, I am going to finish up the posts that I really think need to get out there and then draft a list of the titles of the things that remain unpublished. Finally, I’ll I’ll delete them all and never look back.

I would love to see others participate in Delete Your Drafts Day. Let’s make February 29th the day we always delete our drafts!
