The 2024 Paris Olympics are on WVTM 13!

This is the pantheon. It's *** landmark with *** storied past first, it was *** church then it wasn't, then it was again. And now it's not again. But this is *** building that houses some of France's greatest arts and culture. It's also the final resting place for some of France's greatest thinkers and leaders. It's also going to be one of those final places that the torch will pass by before it lights the cold in the opening ceremony. Now the torch itself will be lit in Greece. That's *** modern take, paying homage to the origin of the Olympics. The flame will land on French soil at Marseille in May. After winding through France for two months, it will then come to Paris passing by all those landmarks in the heart of the city while the relay is international. There are unfortunately no stops in the US. The closest it will be will be in Gulo. That's in the Caribbean in June, in Paris. I'm Amy, right.

What's the time difference between Paris and Alabama?

The time difference between U.S. Central and Central European Time puts Paris seven hours ahead of Alabama.

Each competition day will start around 2 a.m. in Alabama and conclude around 5 p.m. This includes finals in gymnastics, swimming and track and field, as well as games played by the men’s and women’s U.S. basketball teams and the USWNT in soccer.
