Sunday is a Severe Weather Alert Day, with Pittsburgh's Action Weather tracking scattered storms moving through the region.

A severe thunderstorm watch were issued for most of Western Pennsylvania, including Fayette, Green, Washington, Westmoreland and Indiana County until 10 p.m. Sunday.

According to meteorologist Jill Szwed, our heat from the last week will clash with a cold front later on Sunday. Any storm will produce juicy downpours along with damaging winds and some hail. The tornado risk is low, but not zero.
Meteorologist Brian Hutton Jr. said storms will move through the area through the evening. Rain should exit in bulk by 10 p.m., with clouds slowly clearing overnight.
Outside of patchy fog Monday morning, partly cloudy skies with seasonal temperatures and lower humidity greet us. The reprieve is short-lived as highs return to near 90 degrees on Tuesday with higher humidity.
Wednesday is an Impact Day for rain and storms. We then drop the heat and humidity briefly again before getting warm and humid into the weekend.
