Marissa Barrett

Marissa joined WMUR in June 2024 as a digital producer, bringing knowledge from her previous role as a digital intern at WPRI 12.

She completed her undergraduate degree at Johnson & Wales University, where she studied media & communications.

She is originally from Cumberland, Rhode Island, where she called “Little Rhody” her home for 22 years. Now, she is excited to start a new chapter in New Hampshire. During her free time, she can be found at the gym, talking with her twin sister or going on surprise ice cream runs. While her family remains in Rhode Island, she is hoping to start her own family by getting her dream dog (Pepper the Golden Doodle) in a couple years.
