Kevin Robinson

Chief Meteorologist Kevin Robinson returns to the Tri-state after four and a half years at The Weather Channel and a tenure as a meteorologist at WAPT in Jackson, Miss.

"Kevin covered every weather situation there is while forecasting at The Weather Channel, working side-by-side with the top meteorologists in the country," said Richard Dyer, president and general manager of WLWT. "His forecasting experience, weather knowledge and engaging style, along with his Tri-State connections, bring a unique combination to Cincinnati television."

Robinson graduated from Princeton High School and his family members still live in the area, including his father, who works for Procter and Gamble.

Robinson graduated in 2001 from Mississippi State University with a bachelor degree in broadcast meteorology, and he carries the American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval.
