FOR MUCH OF THE SEASON. SUMMER LONG. YEAH, IT’S BEEN CRAZY. AND THAT TORNADO LIKELY PART OF THE REMNANTS OF WHAT WAS HURRICANE BERYL AND PART OF OUR AREA IS DEALING WITH MOISTURE FROM THAT SYSTEM THIS MORNING. A LOT OF US ARE DRY. EVERYONE IS CLOUDY. TAKE A LOOK AT RADAR, THOUGH. THERE’S RAIN PREDOMINANTLY OUT OVER LAKE MICHIGAN. RACINE KENOSHA HAD SOME RAIN THIS MORNING. YOU’RE DRYING OUT NOW. I’M WATCHING THESE SHOWERS THAT HAVE POPPED UP ACROSS OUR CENTRAL AND WESTERN COUNTIES. SO A LOT OF JEFFERSON COUNTY NOW GETTING RAIN. THAT’S MOVING TOWARDS WHITEWATER. IF IT HOLDS TOGETHER. DELAVAN COULD SEE SOME OF THAT AND SOME POP UP SHOWERS CLOSER TO FOND DU LAC AND HARTFORD. IF THOSE HOLD TOGETHER, THEY COULD MOVE INTO CENTRAL AND WESTERN PORTIONS OF WAUKESHA COUNTY. HERE OVER THE NEXT HOUR OR TWO, THERE WAS STEADY RAIN FALLING IN RACINE, 67 DEGREES. THERE NOW, AND THE GROUND IS STILL WET, BUT THE RAIN IS NO LONGER FALLING. SO MUCH DRYER YOU CAN SEE SOME OF THE DARK CLOUDS FROM THE SHOWERS WEST OF HERE. FROM OUR CAMERA AT ROAD AMERICA. ELKHART LAKE, 67 DEGREES THERE AS WELL. SO SHOWERS SOUTH AND SHOWERS WEST. NOW THIS MORNING IT’S NOT GOING TO STICK AROUND. I DO STILL THINK BY 9:00 WE ARE BACK TO DRY CONDITIONS. SO IF YOU WANT TO HIT THE POOL THERE WILL BE TIME TODAY. IT’S GOING TO BE ON THE COOLER SIDE THOUGH BY THE LUNCH HOUR. STILL CLOUDY, 73 DEGREES A CHANCE FOR REALLY JUST SOME HIT OR MISS POP UPS THIS AFTERNOON WITH TEMPERATURES CLOSER TO 75 DEGREES BY 4:00, EVERYONE SHOULD TOP OUT CLOSE TO 77. WE’RE BACK IN THE 80S, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, THEN TAKE A LOOK AT THAT. THE HEAT IS BACK SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES SOARING INTO THE 90S AND ON TOP OF THE HEAT, IT IS GOING TO BE MUGGY. DEW POINTS LIKELY CLIMB CLOSER TO 70 DEGREES BY THE WEEKEND. HERE’S FUTURECAST NOTICE AT 6:00. WE HAVE SOME OF THESE BANDS OF SHOWERS ON FUTURE CAST BY EIGHT BY NINE THEY ARE ALL MOVING OUT SO THE RAIN THAT WE HAVE AROUND RIGHT NOW IS NOT GOING TO LAST FOR TOO LONG. THE CLOUDS WILL STICK AROUND THOUGH THROUGH THE MORNING, BUT I THINK WE SEE MORE BREAKS IN THE CLOUDS AND MORE SUNSHINE AS WE HEAD INTO THE AFTERNOON WITH JUST A FEW SHOWERS LATER THIS EVENING, WE DRY OUT. WE CLEAR OUT OVERNIGHT TONIGHT. SUNSHINE IS IN THE FORECAST AS WE HEAD INTO THE DAY TOMORROW WITH AGAIN, A CHANCE FOR MAYBE JUST A FEW POP UPS LATE TOMORROW. SO THE NEED TO MOW THE LAWN. I’D HOLD OFF TODAY MUCH BETTER OPPORTUNITIES THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, BUT WE’RE GETTING TO THE POINT WITH THE HEAT AS WE HEAD TOWARDS THE WEEKEND THAT AS EARLY AS YOU CAN GET OUTSIDE TO EXERCISE TO DO THE LAWN WORK, THAT’S GOING TO BE THE BEST IDEA 70 TODAY. BUT BY SATURDAY, HIGH TEMPERATURES SOAR INTO THE 90S. AND IT’S NOT JUST THE HEAT NOTICE DEW POINT SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY THEY’RE IN THE RED DEW POINTS. AND IN THE 70S THAT’S WHEN YOU WALK OUTSIDE AND YOU INSTANTLY START SWEATING. SO HEAT AND HUMIDITY ARE ON AS WE HEAD TOWARDS THE WEEKEND. TODAY IT’S AM SPRINKLES AND SHOWERS. DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU ARE, MAINLY SOUTH AND WEST, BUT I DON’T THINK IT LASTS ALL DAY. SUNSHINE IS BACK IN THE FORECAST AS WE HEAD INTO THE AFTERNOON 80S THURSDAY, FRIDAY 90, SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY WE COULD SEE A FEW POP UP STORMS. SATURDAY AFTERNOON A LITTLE BIT COOLER BUT STILL HOT AND HUMID ON TUESDAY WITH HIGHS NEAR 88. YEAH, AND IT’S GOING TO BE HOT. IT’S LOOKING LIKE FOR THE RNC. ALL THOSE PEOPLE IN TOWN. YEAH IT’S NORMALLY THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. IT’S GREAT. IN MILWAUKEE WE HAVE FANTASTIC WEATHER BUT WE GOT A NICE LITTLE HEAT BUBBLE GOING FOR THE RNC. ALWAYS THE BIGGEST EVENTS. YEP. TH

A few showers along the state line are wrapping up Wednesday morning. A mixture of sun and clouds moves in later in the morning into the early afternoon. Some of the sunshine could cause some instability, sparking a few isolated showers or perhaps a rumble of thunder in the afternoon. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s, the coolest over the next seven days. As we head into the weekend, temperatures will gradually warm up into the upper 80s and lower 90s, with an isolated chance of a shower or storm.
