What is the movie ‘Rust’?

The movie “Rust,” starring actor Alec Baldwin, was partially filmed in Santa Fe, New Mexico.According to the New Mexico Film Office, the Western film is based around a 13-year-old boy who was left to fend for himself and his younger brother after their parents died in 1880s Kansas. The 13-year-old goes on the run with his estranged grandfather after he was sentenced to hang for the accidental killing of a rancher. "Rust" is produced by Alec Baldwin and directed by Joel Souza. Other actors in the film include Travis Fimmel, Frances Fisher, and Brady Noon. At the time of filming in New Mexico, the film employed 75 crew members, 22 principal actors, and 230 background talent actors from New Mexico.
