RAGBRAI archives: The city of Greenfield had riders laughing out loud in 2009
And we'll go to tandem who doesn't like free entertainment. Even Rag Bri riders couldn't say no to ducking inside Ee Horn Opera House to keep dry and get some good laughs. Did you know how tough Rag Bry is? How is it? It's so tough. Lance Armstrong couldn't even finish it. We thought we would do *** bicycle theme. Laugh in Rag Bra style. Like many towns that are overnight host during Rag Bra City organizations in Greenfield are hoping to raise money making *** little fun of Rag Bright riders and their crazy tradition makes it that much better. That's *** dry seat and laughs will draw the crowd in. Have another, have another. Is it cold? It's very cold. Hopefully they'll enjoy the free show enough that they'll make *** small donation when they leave the money will help fund the restoration of the 113 year old opera house. Organizers are hopeful that the theater will one day attract *** bigger crowd and more actors and some of the actors today didn't even know they'd be in the show. Like Paul Schmidt from Phoenix, normally we just show up and sit around the backyard and drink beer and that's about it. But this overnight stop in Greenfield is *** little different. Ask me how I'm doing. How are you doing? You know what I'm doing? Just great. You look *** little dry. You want some more. I'm having *** great time. It's actually this is our host and she said, if you guys are gonna come, if you guys are gonna stay in my house, you have to be in my show. I said, ok, fine. That's cool. And that's not *** bad deal when you consider he now doesn't have to sleep outside in the rain.
