Dressed in a big bow and pink onesie, Clara Gaudian entered the West Des Moines EMS Station to meet the people who helped keep her alive. "Look at baby Clara. She is so big. This is who you guys saved. This is what you did," said Clara's mother, Jessica Gaudian, as she greeted the paramedics. The reunion comes three months after Clara was born at 28 weeks on the bathroom floor of the Gaudian family's home, weighing just over 2 pounds. West Des Moines paramedics arrived within minutes to stabilize Clara and rush her to the hospital. "With baby being so small we were worried about her lung development and making sure she stays warm, because at that age, they are not able to regulate their temperature as well," said West Des Moines paramedic Lt.
