It's mostly a shoot em up not much regarding story telling but that makes it a good game, nothing but your good ol kill every thing you see except your team.
Alan Wake 2 is an amazing game that beats its past predecessor. It was immersive and more detailed than ever. Playing more outside the box that synched well in the game. Who would have taught a musical could be put in a horror game? They really put every kind of thing in this game and I couldn't find it being too much and enjoyed every bit of it as I progress in the story. Saga and Alex is a great addition to the story and also some of the characters I like.
Alan Wake is a great horror game that gives a light to a unique story telling and game mechanics that is simple yet complex at the same time. At times it is hard to say if it's actually boring as I play or is it frustrating to get equipment that you need. It was an immersing ride one that focuses you in listening what will happen next while focusing on something in the dark that will suddenly jump you.
