Red Dead Redemption 2Beat

I'm speechless, the 2018 GOTY has really been stolen.
What a perfect game. Starting with the smallest details, the sounds of the environment, the manners of the animals, the routines of the NPCs (this really scared me) and every one of the thousands of details of the game that you would surely find in a ten-hour video. All strangely essential to the plot, feeling like someone who misses the West, the virgin lands, even without ever having been there, feeling the freshness of the grass and the weight of the horse, unbelievable how less than 30 minutes into the game I was already sighing from how wonderful the ride was. Not to mention the game's greatest achievement, its phenomenal characters, Arthur, John, Abigail, the Uncle, Charles and all the gang members were perfectly done, every dynamic in the camp, their developments and choices, everything is very human and beautiful to experience. To think that staying in the camp just watching what they do every days and always seeing something interesting at the very least is one of the magical things about Red Dead.
It's very difficult to talk about Red Dead 2 without heaping praise on the character of Arthur. His development is a rare gem; it's hard to see characters so well developed throughout the story. From start to finish, the way he reacts to the world never ceased to amaze me.
The plot works on a different system, maybe at some point you'll find the game repetitive, but don't stop, there's a reason for that. Towards the end of the game I cried at every side mission, I was in awe of the wonder that was happening on my computer screen.
I'm sure I'll make a video praising this game for hours at some point in my life.
I have to do a low honor run.

What a spectacular game, FromSoftware has given a masterclass in storytelling.
Telling the story through the clash of metal. Sekiro is simply brilliant in every possible way. Complex and deep characters, a perfectly functional world that shapes itself during the story, a deep touch of Japanese mythology, everything is genius. The depth and complexity of each character, although perfect, Sekiro keeps reminding you every second of gameplay, that nothing matters, "Hesitation is defeat.". The confrontation will decide what is right or wrong, which worldview will win, the way each character fights perfectly illustrates their ideologies, philosophies and dreams.
So I say goodbye to Sekiro, with few words, but a giant love for the game.

Astro's PlayroomBeat

Very charismatic, Sony needs to make this little robot their mascot. The final boss being a Green T-Rex is hilarious.
Sony has always had this difficulty in defining a "mascot", it has always had spectacular games, several rich game series, but never a mascot like Nintendo has with Mario. Astro has come to break this, finally creating a mascot for Sony that, ironically, represents PlayStation in all its essence.
The game is clearly a 3-hour advertisement, which is not a bad thing, advertisements can be fun, which is the case here. Navigating different parts of the Ps5 while collecting puzzle pieces and random collectibles on creative 3D maps, with wonderful soundtracks, is everything I want from a children's game of this style. Astro's Playroom ends up giving me more because it plays directly with my feelings in its small details. I've always had Sony consoles, to this day I have my Ps2, Ps3, Ps4 and PsVita, as well as, of course, the Ps5, so going through the stages collecting iconic accessories for these consoles really gets to me, as well as, of course, putting little robots in the scene wearing clothes from famous exclusive games is very charmy.
Talking about the reason this game exists, which would make a 10-minute video in itself, to show the power of PlayStation DualSense. As it's my first Ps5 game (it took me a while to get my hands on it), feeling the controller in my hand is an experience in itself. What a wonderful sensation, the weight of the triggers, the controller's sound box, the mega-advanced vibration system, everything is perfect and gave an instant immersion and absurd charisma to a game that was supposed to be a 3-hour commercial.
I'm really looking forward to the sequel that has been announced and I pray that Sony invests more in this mascot, just as I pray that XBox or any other console company that comes along creates a cute and charismatic mascot (I miss Banjo and Kazooie).
