Far Cry Primal
Ubisoft surprised Far Cry fans with news that the next entry in the series, Far Cry Primal, will be set during the prehistoric age. It left questions about what players' narrative goals might be, and now Ubisoft is filling in some of those gaps with a story trailer for the game. The video showcases warring tribes, helpful jungle cats, and lots of combat with primitive weaponry to help reclaim the land.
In the modern Far Cry fashion, the game focuses on Takkar, a warrior who travels to Oros to deliver the Wenja tribe from certain doom. The trailer includes fights with huge mammoths, angry cats, mystic owls, and a tasty drink of eyeball soup.
Far Cry Primal will bring you back to the Stone Age on February 23, when it arrives on PS4, Xbox One. A PC release is set to launch in March.
