Fanart Friday: Birds by KovoWolf, journal
Fanart Friday: Birds
This Fan Art Friday features Birds!
Birds are striking creatures with tons of personality. Depending on the type of bird, you'll discover wildly fluent characters in each!
Did you know birds evolved from a group of meat-eating dinosaurs called theropods. That's the same group that Tyrannosaurus rex belonged to, although birds evolved from small theropods, not huge ones like T. rex!
“A bird does not sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.” — Maya Angelou
Owls turn their heads almost 360○ (a complete circle) but they cannot move their eyes.
It is estimated that one third of all bird owners turn on a radio for their pet when they leave the house.

Fanart Friday: Wolf's Rain
Welcome to this Fan Art Friday feature! I'll be featuring none other than the magnificent series Wolf's Rain!
"Wolf's Rain" is an anime series that blends elements of fantasy, adventure, and post-apocalyptic themes. Set in a world where humanity believes wolves to be extinct, it follows the journey of a group of wolves who can take on human form in their quest to find Paradise, a legendary utopia said to be the only place where wolves can find peace.
The story begins with Kiba, a lone white wolf, searching for Paradise. He encounters other wolves along the way: Tsume, Hige, and Toboe, each with their own motivations and backgrounds. Together, they face various challenges and obstacles, including human hunters and the harsh realities of their world.
As they travel, they are joined by humans who become intertwined in their quest, including Cheza, a mysterious girl with the ability to communicate with plants and believed to be the key to finding Paradise.

Fanart Friday: Lord Of The Rings
"The Lord of the Rings" is a high-fantasy novel written by J.R.R. Tolkien, initially published in three volumes between 1954 and 1955. The story is set in the fictional world of Middle-earth and follows the journey of a young hobbit named Frodo Baggins, who inherits a powerful and dangerous artifact known as the One Ring. The Ring was created by the Dark Lord Sauron to control all other Rings of Power and dominate Middle-earth.
Frodo, along with a fellowship of friends and allies—including the wizard Gandalf, the ranger Aragorn, the elf Legolas, the dwarf Gimli, and other hobbits Sam, Merry, and Pippin—embarks on a perilous quest to destroy the Ring by casting it into the fires of Mount Doom, where it was forged. Throughout their journey, they face numerous challenges and adversaries, including Sauron's armies, treacherous landscapes, and the corrupting influence of the Ring itself!
The narrative explores themes of friendship, courage, sacrifice, and the struggle between

Elloske cocked her head, and considered the tracks before her. There were two sets of tracks. One set were that of a rabbit. The tracks were far apart, obviously the rabbit was moving at speed. Fleeing, as if for its' life. She looked where the tracks led. Into a thicket, of brush and trees.
This was naught surprising, Rabbts were hunted, and fled.
The other tracks were curious. Most curious.
They were of a humanoid, barefoot, seemingly a small one. Not a goblin or an orc, for both had nails on their toes. Human, or elven, belike, yet this was a wilderness. None human or elven resided in these parts.
None that Elloske knew of, at least. Certainly no children. No adult human or elf, if such it was, had made those tracks. And why pursue the rabbit? If a hunter, would not the one have a bow or spear or javelin?
It made no sense.
Elloske followed the tracks, blade in hand. They led into the thicket. Just before the thicket, the barefoot prints disappeared. Elloske's

Oh tell me, my dear
when you dream
what is it that you see
are we playing in a field
or just sitting on your couch
merely enjoying eachother’s company
when the stars in the sky
come out to dance
what about us
what is our story
are we together forever
or does it end in tragedy
I think back
to the late nights
you were there for me
and I, for you
i forever wish
for these times
to never end
Do you dream of me
the way i dream of you?
when the stars in the sky
come out to dance
what about us
what is our story
are we together forever
or does it end in tragedy
A memory now so bittersweet
if i was ever to think
you didn’t remember
the moments we shared
the nights all alone
the first time we kissed
i can only wonder how much they meant
to you
for when you dream
do you see me
or am I not there at all
Do you not feel the way i do
when the stars in the sky
come out to dance
what about us
what is our story
are we together forever
or does it end in tragedy
My dear
i love
