    The description says it works with the 6948XL but it does not. Fortunately I had an old compatible razor lying around that it did work with. But it does not work with all the razors mentioned. Just check the input of your razor to be sure. Great idea though.

    Somehow this thing actually works and works very well !!! I had my doubts at first because the razor requires 15 volts of charging current
    and a usb port has five volt output. This adapter pumps the voltage from five volts to fifteen volts and it required less time to charge than the
    one that came with the razor how odd..... My first time using it I plugged it in to my laptop computer and it took off and started charging.
    It weighs less than ounce and takes up zero space so it can go anywhere. This thing is genius.

    I'm constantly forgetting to re-charge the thing, or forgetting to bring my adapter along on a trip when I don't. And when I do bring the adapter, it's bulky and kind of a pain to deal with. This is super convenient and charges well enough. Recommended for any traveler, or anyone else who would prefer to use USB ports to charge even at home (if you've got a lot of electronic bathroom devices, for example).

    This fits my Braun Series 5 shaver and the charging base. I think the little dongle part way along the cord is a 5V DC to 16V DC transformer, and the Norelco and Philips and Braun shavers are all 16V DC charging devices. The only tricky part is the insertion end is different on many models. I just happened to buy a Norelco shaver at Costco recently since I lost my cord for my Braun and it is $30 to replace the cord. So I thought I'd try the Norelco (my Dad uses Norelco). I didn't like the shaver, but discovered the cord worked on my Braun Series 5. I returned the Norelco and bought this cord. Works well so far. It will also be handier, since I can charge in the car, on airplanes, and use my laptop to charge when I'm on travel (including foreign countries). I would prefer he cord to not be so long. It would be optimal with a 24 inch cord.

    For Braun users it might not work. Even other Series 5 shavers have different connectors. Annoying, I know.

    Every piece of electronic equipment that I travel with can be charged from my external power bank.
    Except my Philips/Norelco shavers and one blade! I was very disappointed to find that P/N have yet to step into the USB charging camp!
    Well now the only thing that doesn't charge USB is the One Blade.
    This cord is great and since you can't a/c charge and shave ( for goodness sake why not?) and we don't carry around a mains outlet this cord gives the option to charge "on the go". Brilliant
    Now all I need is one for the One Blade.
    It works so well I bought another and leave it in the car.

    die ladedauer ist über alle diese Anschlüsse bei mir gleichlang und unterscheidet sich untereinander kein bisschen

    das kabel wird auch kein bisschen heis und lässt den haarschneider am aufladestecker auch nicht heis werden

    Fazit

    für leute die ihre Phillips geräte über usb laden möchten es geht und mit einer solar Powerbank müsst ihr nichtmals mehr die stromkosten fürs aufladen mehr zahlen

    ganz klare Kauf empfehlung
