    It works as expected. It comes at a reasonable price. I bought two. Seems to have a pretty sturdy return spring to it. Pull it out in increments to have it lock out at a needed length. Extend it most of the way out to retract it all back in. Only time will tell how long it lasts. I use it with an Ipod Mini and plug it into my Harley aux input. Highly recommend.

Still works great, and it was a heavy device, so I don't expect this retractor to hold up vs thatvdrop! Overall, great product, I like the cables better than bluetooth at times, and this is the answer, to hook up your old ipod that isvnot bluetooth, or get that better sound when hooking up devices to you speakers!

What I like most about it is that the tip of it is fairly narrow, which helps it fit through the cutout of my phone case, which not all cables and headphones can do.     The wires are a bit flimsy and I sometimes feel as if they're going to break.
    The packaging tells you not to pull ONE side but BOTH sides at once and I made the mistake of forgetting. While it rolled back up mostly correct there's still some slack on one of the sides. It's NOT very long. If you were to use this in a car it would only be for front seat sitters and NOT for the back seat.

    It works like it should but it seems very breakable.

I can also set it on the passenger seats nicely. It fits my intentions perfectly. I would only replace this if I wanted to get a longer one to let people share their music from the back seat.

    The build is solid but it could use a thicker cable to accompany the housing.

    It works great for a little while and then the wires come apart at the connectors. I bought (2) of them for my son's headphones and he barely used them before they broke. The retractor works great, but the wire connection at the plugs needs to be re-inforced or better quality. When you pull on the plugs to extend them it puts stress at the wire to plug connection eventually causing them to tear apart. Could have been a great product if it was designed a little stronger.

    I buy these to keep in my car so I can plug my phone or iPod into the stereo. It's much easier and more compact than a regular cord.

    It's important that you extend and retract the cable properly. You have to pull both ends simultaneously and don't let go. If you pull on only one end, it will tangle or roll up unevenly.

    Great product. It fits in your pocket. The white round piece on the center shows "How it Works." You pull both ends simultaneously. And pull both ends again for it to retract. Easy to use. I love that the plug end is straight and not at a 90degree angle like other aux cords. Because with the thicker phone case, that I have, the 90 degree bend ones can't reach my headphone port. But the straight plug can reach my headphones port allowing me to connect my phone without removing my case. The retractable design keeps your aux from getting tangled up in other things. I wish they had a little larger length option, like maybe a 5ft cord. But the retractable aux cord is amazing. It's small and slim, making it portable and convenient. Would rate 5 stars, but I wish there was more cable and that the casing was a little more scratch resistant. (Mine just had a few stratches, because I keep in a small pocket with a lot of electronic needs, like chargers.)
