Police and detectives are investigating an armed robbery that took place at the Phillips 66 gas station on Wedington Dr. in Fayetteville. Police said it happened around 4:00 Wednesday morning.
According to Fayetteville Police, they are currently interviewing witnesses and going through surveillance video.
Police said there were no injuries and no arrests have been made at this time.
Gas station employees tell us that some vape pens were stolen.
The gas station is attached to a McDonald's that did have to go on lockdown.
The investigation is ongoing.
