Apple to switch to OLED displays for iPads and MacBooks

Display industry in for disruption as investment pours into newer technology

TAIPEI -- Apple will expand its use of advanced OLED screens to iPads and MacBooks and is considering eventually introducing foldable tablets, a move set to further shake up the $150 billion display industry as it shifts away from traditional LCD screens.
